Avec ses gravillons, ses zones de baignades sécurisées et son ambiance sereine, la plage des Fourmis conviendra aussi bien aux familles qu'aux personnes seules. On s'y sent globalement bien et en sécurité. L'eau est claire et la baignade agréable, avec un notamment un filet anti-méduse pour plus de sécurité. La gare ainsi qu'un arrêt de bus se trouve à proximité. Il sera en revanche difficile de se garer en voiture. En effet, en période estivale, les rares places de parking à proximité seront vites prises d'assaut.
