About Marquet Beach

Located in Cap d’Ail, Marquet Beach is just a few steps away from Monaco. Composed of gravel, it stretches over approximately 300 meters, with the arches of Stade Louis II as a backdrop. Overlooked by a pedestrian zone, it charms visitors with its tranquility and safe atmosphere. The beach is not overcrowded, allowing you to settle in comfortably, even in the height of summer. Well-equipped, it offers showers, a lifeguard post, and two beach clubs. Additionally, individuals with reduced mobility can take advantage of the specialized facilities.

Swimming Conditions

The water is clean and clear, with moderate depth on the right side of the beach. The seabed is composed of gravel, gradually giving way to small rocks. The presence of an anti-jellyfish net reassures swimmers, while bathing is supervised during the summer.

Activities

Sports enthusiasts can enjoy games of beach volleyball on the court located to the left of the beach. For fans of water sports, kayaks, pedal boats, and paddleboards are available for rent.

If you enjoy walking, Marquet Beach is the starting point of the coastal path that stretches all the way to Mala Beach.

Access and Parking

You can park your vehicle in the free parking lot to the right of the beach, or along the road (free parking spaces).

You can also take the bus on line 600 (Nice-Menton) to the “Liberté” stop. The beach is a 5-minute walk away.
