A pleasant beach at the gates of the Estérel Mountain Range

Located at the entrance to the Estérel Mountain Range, Rague Beach stretches at the foot of a red rock cliff, typical of this part of the region. Overlooked by the Agecroft Castle, whose architecture evokes the Scottish style, this 200-meter double cove extends to the Rague harbor. Completely isolated from the road, it offers an intimate atmosphere. Less crowded than its neighbor, Raguette Beach, it provides enough space to settle comfortably. Protected from currents by a rock breakwater, the water is perfectly calm, although swimming is not supervised.
Rague Beach: Comfort of Fine Sand or Tranquility of Pebbles
Rague Beach is divided into two distinct areas, allowing visitors to choose the atmosphere that best suits their preferences.

The left side is the calmest and most secluded, featuring a mix of pebbles and gravel, which extends into the water, along with some larger rocks. It is the ideal spot for those seeking peace and quiet.

On the right side, the presence of fine sand provides more comfort. The water is very calm, with gently sloping sandy bottoms. This area is livelier, more crowded, and is located near a private beach establishment. It is the perfect spot for families and children.
Beach Volleyball, Water Sports, and Coastal Path from Rague Beach

Several activities are available from Rague Beach, including a beach volleyball court located on its right side. For water sports enthusiasts, head to the stand at the end of the pier. You can rent a jet ski or try a thrilling session of towable tubes. Finally, at the far left of the beach, you can access the coastal path. Equipped with suitable footwear, you can enjoy a lovely seaside walk. This path connects Rague Beach to Raguette Beach and then to Château Beach.
How to Get to Rague Beach ?
