The Chemin des Douaniers is a stunning walk along the wild and preserved coastline of Cap-Ferrat. Spanning over 4 kilometers, it connects Passable Beach to the village of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Throughout the route, you’ll enjoy superb views of the Mediterranean, from the bay of Villefranche to the Fossettes Cove. You’ll also come across small coves with crystal-clear waters and landmarks like the COEXIST fountain and the Cap-Ferrat lighthouse. The trail between Passable Beach and the tip of the Cap is narrow and uneven, requiring sturdy walking shoes. Note that it’s possible to access the path from the lighthouse to enjoy the flat and stabilized section leading to the village.
