The water is clear and shallow, with gently sloping sandy bottoms. The shallow depth near the shore makes it ideal for children, while lifeguards ensure safety during the summer months.

Access and Parking

Parking is available in paid spots along the road or at the Salis Beach parking lot (also paid during the summer), located to the left of the beach. Arriving early is recommended as parking fills up quickly during peak season.

The beach is accessible by bus on Line 14, stopping at “Handiplage.”

For those arriving by train, it’s about a 30-minute walk from Antibes train station to the beach.

Beyond its appreciated comfort, the beach offers another highlight: a stunning panorama. From the fine sand, you can enjoy a breathtaking view. To your left, you’ll see the old town of Antibes with its ramparts, the Grimaldi Castle tower, and the tower of the Notre-Dame de l’Immaculée Conception Cathedral. Located just a 15-minute walk from Antibes’ old town, the beach allows you to combine seaside relaxation with a visit to the historic center in one day. However, the nearby road can pose a safety concern for children. For a more tranquil experience, consider the neighboring Ponteil Beach.
