The idyllic setting of La Raguette Beach in Mandelieu-la-Napoule

Nestled at the edge of the Esterel massif, La Raguette Beach captivates visitors with its scenic views and small stretch of fine sand. The only disturbance comes from the passing trains on the railway above the beach, which briefly interrupt the tranquility.

The shallow water of Raguette Beach in Mandelieu-la-Napoule

Protected by a breakwater, Raguette Beach features calm, shallow waters. Its gently sloping sandy bottom provides optimal comfort, while lifeguards ensure swimmer safety during the summer. It is an ideal spot for families with children. However, during peak season, the influx of visitors can detract from the experience, as the space near the water quickly becomes crowded.

Snorkeling and seaside strolls from Raguette Beach

From the left end of the beach, you can access the coastal path towards Château Beach. The trail is flat and stabilized, providing a pleasant and accessible walk. On the right side of the beach, another section of the path leads to Rague Beach. This part is more challenging, with a slight incline and an unsurfaced path winding through the pine trees. Below the path, snorkeling enthusiasts can explore small coves with crystal-clear waters, home to a rich marine life.

  • Access : take Rue de la Plage, located to the right of Château de la Napoule, and continue until you reach the seafront. The beach is also accessible from the coastal path, starting from the Château Beach.
  • By car : we recommend parking for free at the Soustelle parking lot, located near the large roundabout at the entrance of the town.
