A picturesque trail along Cap Martin
The coastal trail begins on the eastern coast of the cape, offering an unobstructed view of Italy, Menton, and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. Soon, you’ll reach the point with its almost lunar rocky landscapes.

The narrow path then winds through the pines along the coastline. Stabilized and not particularly difficult, it is accessible to all. However, the trail remains impassable for strollers, bicycles, or people with reduced mobility due to the many steps.

As you reach the western part of the cape, the trail reveals a magnificent panorama of the Principality of Monaco. Along the way, you’ll also discover small wild coves nestled along the shoreline.

The charm of Villa Cypris at the edge of the Le Corbusier Trail

Halfway along, on your left, you’ll glimpse Villa Cypris, standing facing the sea. This magnificent building, in neo-Byzantine style, was constructed in 1904 at the request of the wife of the director of the Grands Magasins du Louvre in Paris. With its Mediterranean gardens and pergola supported by stone arches, the house allowed the owners to watch their daughter as she went out to sea.
The crystal-clear waters of Buse Beach and Villa E-1027
At the end of the trail, you’ll have the opportunity to extend your walk to the beautiful Buse Beach. To do so, take the Massolin trail (continuing from the Le Corbusier trail) for 1 kilometer. You will then overlook the turquoise, crystal-clear waters of this charming pebble beach. To reach the shore, take the small stairs near the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin SNCF station.

This extension of the trail also offers a view of Villa E-1027. This modernist-style house was designed by architect Eileen Gray in 1926. Partially built on stilts, the building houses frescoes created by Le Corbusier without Eileen Gray’s permission, which caused her deep disapproval. The villa is open for visits from April 1st to November 3rd.
