Aiguille Beach: A Perfect Balance Between Comfort and Tranquility

Aiguille Beach is divided into two sections. On the left, the main area consists of sand. The available space for visitors is decent, unlike the neighboring Petite Fontaine Beach. However, a private establishment offering sun loungers and a restaurant occupies part of the area. Additionally, the water is clean and crystal clear, with a seabed made up of pebbles. Swimming is supervised in the summer, with a lifeguard station on-site.

On the right, the second part of the beach is hidden behind a rocky point. Wilder and less accessible, it offers more tranquility, although with less comfort. There is still some sand, mixed with large rocks, which are also present on the seabed.

Snorkeling and Hiking Starting from Aiguille Beach

Equipped with a mask and snorkel, you can dive into the water to explore the stunning marine life along the rocky coastline. For hiking enthusiasts, the Pointe de l’Aiguille trail, accessible from the beach, offers beautiful viewpoints and leads to hidden small coves.

How to get to Aiguille Beach ?

  • Access : from the village of Théoule-sur-Mer, follow the coastline to the right. Walk about 600 meters along the André Pradayrol pedestrian promenade to reach the beach. You can also take the Pointe de l’Aiguille trail from the boulevard de la Corniche d’Or (about 15 minutes walk).
  • By car : a paid parking lot is located at the entrance of the pedestrian area leading to the beach, but spaces are limited. We recommend parking in the angled spots along Rue Jean-Baptiste Pastor, in the village center. If you wish to access the beach via the Pointe de l’Aiguille trail, a small free parking is located along the road.
  • By bus : Palmbus network, lines 19 and 22, stops at Théoule Plages, or Abel Ballif for the Pointe de l’Aiguille trail.

In conclusion

With its stunning natural landscapes, Aiguille Beach captivates with its preserved character. Its sand and shaded areas provide a pleasant space for relaxation. The water is clear, but the rocky seabed, made up of pebbles and large stones, makes swimming less comfortable.
